Frédéric Teschner (1972–2016) started his graphic designer’s career as an independent in 2002, after graduating from the ENSAD (École supérieure des arts décoratifs) in Paris. Since then, he regularly works with architects, designers, choreographers, art galleries, cultural institutions, museums and theatres. He is member of the AGI (International Graphic Alliance) since 2010, and has won the first prize of the renown International Poster and Graphic Design Festival at Chaumont in 2012.
Lisa Sturacci joined the studio in 2014. She graduated from the ESAA Duperré and holds an agrégation in Applied arts from École normale supérieure de Cachan, since 2012.
In May 2016, they create their studio: Teschner—Sturacci.
Their common creative commitment is deployed within a graphic language that always resonates with the projects, through a rigorous and singular experimental research, developed in a close dialogue and collaboration with the commissioners.
Frédéric Teschner and Lisa Sturacci conceive graphic objects applied to various media, such as visual identity — recently the Centre dramatique national Nanterre-Amandiers —, publications, websites or labels, in collaboration with public or private structures.
